Students are encouraged to live with local families. All of our families all live near our school. Each home is clean and comfortable and includes all the necessities television, hot water, potable water, private rooms, quiet, vegetarian food if the student is a vegetarian and laundry service, among others.
Our families are extraordinarily friendly. They provide a great entry point to our Hispanic culture. You have a chance to practice your newly learned skills in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.
We do our best to meet the expectations of our guests. We want our guests to feel that their family’s home is truly their home.
Students who wish can rent a room in a nearby hotel or an apartment. There is a wide variety of them near Irazú.
