Costa Rica is a natural paradise. We encourage every student to see as much as possible. We organize tours every weekend. Those include visits to beaches, mountains, volcanoes, national parks, and rain forests, among others. Activities include such things as canopy rides, rafting, hiking, rappelling, bunjee jumping, etc. These activities are coordinated by members who have graduated from I.N.A (a prestigious tourism center) and have many useful contacts in these areas of tourism.
Costa Rica is a destination with an abundance of activities and adrenaline for lovers of adventure tourism. The whole year round, and in most parts of the country, whether it is on water, land or earth, you can select among a variety of activities such as rafting, snorkeling, kayaking, sport fishing, surfing and lost more.

Rafting: Costa Rica offers some of the world’s best whitewater rafting and kayaking rivers.Expereince the thrill of aquatic adventures in the different options offered by Costa Rica for the most daring, but also for those who like milder versions. Dare to master the river rapids in groups of five people or more, while rafting, or well, learning kayaking.
Kayak: Kayak may be practiced at see; experience the thrilling motion of waves under shining sun; get to know Costa Rican beaches with its many-colored sands, surrounded by exuberant vegetation.
Your trip may be soothing if you’d rather opt for a canoe try by the rivers, canals, lakes and wetlandas, in natural scenarios of exquisite beauty.
Hiking: When you hook on a walk trek to have a close contact with nature, you’ll discover the amazing trails crossing mountains; they are an invitation to search land, appreciating the imposing rivers and waterfalls.

Horseback riding: May be enjoyed almost anywhere in the country, guided by an expert. Hit the trails in the forest, or down the beaches and often stopping at waterfalls and lakes or if you’d rather, come in closer touch with Costa Rica culture, in a friendly experience with the people of the community, while learning about interesting towns.
Mountain bike: Scenic beauty, challenging paths and lots of fun are there expecting for lovers of mountain bikes.
Rappel: Is an exercise that makes you descend from the highest top of trees, waterfalls, cliffs or rocky formations, to the ground. You only need some comfortable clothes.
Aerial tram: It goes through the tree tops of a tropical forest over 100 feet above the jungle floor. All those tours offer a monkey’s- eye view of the rain forest canopy, where thick branches serve as platforms, and incredible diversity of smaller plants, and such animals as tree frogs, sloths and hundred of bird species can be seen.

Canopy: This activity consist of gliding at different speeds, holding unto steel cables suspended between platforms located on the canopy of the highest tees. Some of them involve, crossing over river gorges, making it necessary to climb a mountain to continue you journey.
During the trip and from the high platforms, you can delight with the imposing natural landscapes and views of the forest from up high. The Canopy advantage is that it may be practiced by almost everyone depending on the level of excitement you wish to experience. Several private biological reservoirs also have platforms in the canopy of large trees, where people are hoisted up to. One private reservoir even has a small hotel room built in the top of a tree, for those who want to spend a night in the canopy.
Bungee: If you can overcome vertigo, enjoy the feeling of flinging yourself in a free fall bungee jumping has been booming since 19991,being practiced in different sites of the county.
Caribbean canals: The most popular lowland waterway trip heads up the Caribbean Canals, wich run along the Atlantic coast north from the port of Moín to the communities of Parismina, Tortuguero and Barra del Colorado.
Most travelers go to Tortuguero National Park, which protects an important sea turtle nesting beach and vast expanses of lowland rainforest and swampy Raffia palm forest.
A trip down any stretch of the canals is a true jungle adventure, offering opportunities to spot such animals as crocodiles, three-toed sloths, oropendolas and boat-billed herons. They also offer world-class tarpon, snook fishing and other species.

Sport Fishing, Snorkeling, Sun bathing: The Caribean region of Costa Rica stands out for its variety of aquatic ecosystems and its beautiful with and black sands beaches, providing an ideal setting for activities such as sports fishing, snorkeling and sun bathing.
Windsur and fishing: Though the scenary impresses averyone driving around the lake Arenal is specially popular among fishermen and widsurfers. The guapote or rainbow bass, a feisty fish that thrives in the lakes waters, draws the anglers there. The windsurfers gater at the western end of Arenal, where are strong and consistent winds making it one of the world’s premier windsurfing spots.
Surfing: The Pacific coast concentrates big tourist centers and its beaches are very popular for surfing such as Esterillos, Jaco, Hermosa, and Boca Barranca. In the Golfito region near the Mariono Ballena National Park, surfing fans can find the famous long lefthander wave.
Snorkeling: You’ll get in touch with a colorful, underwater world, with the possibility of observing the spectacular whale shark, white finned sharks at Cocos’ Island, one of the 10 most important marine places in the world Natural Heritage site by UNESCO devilfish, schools, of diferents species, eels, lobsters, the beauty of copral reefs and so much more.
